The Crescent Community Venue

Venue Overview

The Crescent Community Venue is a fully licensed bar, concert and events venue. A former Working Men’s Club, it has a long history of community spirit and musical entertainment spanning over 100 years, and since re-opening has rapidly developed into a key component of York’s music and cultural life. In addition to the auditorium there is a Games room with free pool table, dartboard, bar billiards, retro computer games and a front bar area.

Level access to the ground floor. Games Room is accessible only via stairs.

Parking & Transport

The Crescent has resident-only parking restrictions with some on-street Pay and Display parking in the evening. Pay & Display car parks are opposite the venue and on Nunnery Lane. Bicycle parking is available by the Odeon. Bus stop – 100 yards from venue. Train station – 0.5 miles.
