Venue Overview

The NCEM is based in the medieval, Grade I listed, converted church of St Margaret’s, which stands in the heart of the City of York in an attractive and spacious church garden. Converted in 2000 into a stunning setting for concerts, NCEM is an accessible, flexible and intimate venue specialising in early, world, jazz and folk music, as well as conferences and weddings.

Bicycle parking is available on site. Bus stop – 100 yards from venue. Train station – 1.1 miles.
